The role of the Junior Motion Graphic Designer is to bring visual concepts and ideas to life for direct clients and advertising agencies. Combining in-depth understanding of the brand requirements with a natural interest in graphic design and visual communication. This is the perfect job for a recent grad who wants to be recognized for their talent even though they do not have a great deal of real-world experience.


• Create animated advertisements for various network specs
• Design, storyboard, and comply with brand guidelines to develop compelling ads suited to our various
Network specifications and sketching of concepts
• Create and edit videos
• Communicate clearly with administration staff, timelines and project progress
• Proofreading and ability to check and approve specs
• Sourcing various media for ad production such as stock photography, iconography, videos and audio
• Participate in internal brainstorm meetings and attend client meetings
• Design UI for websites or applications
• Wireframing of content for given projects
• Designing for web and ability to work within WordPress – including optimization for mobile


• Advertising industry experience would be an asset
• Ability to work closely with AMs and PMs
• Ability to work with iOS and Adobe suite of products
• Interest and knowledge of cutting-edge technologies like AI, VR and AR
• Proficiency in AfterEffects and Adobe Animate
• Knowledge of Flash development, HTML5 and 3D animation is an asset
• Be resourceful and creative – ability to find alternative solutions when lack of direction or assets are provided
• Solid understanding of Typography
• Works well in a collaborative environment and ability to communicate via Slack
• Familiarity with Atlassian suite of products including Confluence and JIRA an asset
• Keen attention to detail
• Strong desire to learn and contribute to projects
