Interactive Mapping Tool Provides Media Planners With Latest OOH Data

August 24, 2010 - (Toronto, Ontario) The Out-of-Home Marketing Association of Canada has released an update to its dynamic web mapping system that provides users with the capability to create printable, customized OOH market coverage maps.

The mapping tool has been updated with the current inventory of all OMAC member company products and networks and reflects the COMB April 2010 Market Data Report. Maps can be produced for Astral Out-of-Home, CBS Outdoor, Lamar Transit, Metromedia Plus, NEWAD, Outdoor Broadcast Network, Pattison Outdoor, Titan 360 and Zoom Media.

Jan 08 2010 - Innovative creative gets shoppers thinking about the power of Energizer batteries. Over the holiday season, Energizer Canada deployed a unique campaign to shed some light on the power of Energizer batteries, becoming the first company to virtually “install” batteries in parking lot light posts during the holiday shopping rush. The creative decals, which appeared on parking lot lights at the Scarborough Town Centre and Square One shopping centres, gave the effect that a panel had been taken off one side of the pole exposing stacked Energizer batteries inside – in essence, powering the lights.
